Learning Specialist 6-8

Ms. Jane Ardell

Work experience - Jane is the new Learning Support Specialist at The Megan Furth Academy. She has come to Megan Furth after teaching for twelve years at Francisco Middle School in North Beach. She received her Bachelor’s degree in history and teaching credential at the University of San Francisco and her Master’s degree in Education from San Francisco State. She is very excited to be working with all of the students and teachers at the Megan Furth Academy.

Mrs. Patricia Shanks

At the Megan Furth Academy, Patricia provides extended education to accelerater students Kindergarten through fourth grade. She also provides supplemental reading assistance to the intermediate leavel students. She performs substitute teaching duties to all grade levels. She has an AA in General Education from City College of San Francisco, with a special emphasis on Early Childhood Education. She attended San Francisco State University from 1980-1981.
