Dear Parents/Guardian:

The C.Y.O. Boys Basketball season, is coming up quick the season will be starting, the first week in December. Megan Furth Academy is looking forward to another Championship Year!

Sign-ups for boys in grades 3-8 will be will begin on Monday September 29, 2008.  Boys who wish to play basketball should sign-up with Mr. Ward during their lunch recess.

Athletic Fee are $60.00 per player.  All fees must be paid in FULL before uniforms will be distributed.

CYO

Students from grades four through eight may participate in the CYO sports program. Games and practices are held outside of school hours. The number of teams and sports offered will be determined by:

• the number of coaches
• the number of students who desire to participate

Students who participate in the sports program must:

• pay the required charge for league fees and equipment
• maintain a satisfactory GPA
• have satisfactory standing in the areas of effort and behavior

The Principal reserves the right to disqualify a student from the Sports Program for a given time if that is deemed warranted by the student’s behavior or academic performance.

Parents are encouraged to go to the games. Parents are required to provide transportation to and from all games and practices for their child. Parents may drive other children only if they have a MINIMUM of $100,000 liability insurance.
